MY WEB SITE PARTIAL THESIS PROPOSAL: Story-Idol

The Implementation

The Story-Idol prototype is an incomplete static system representing the concept of a dynamic site with commercial ramifcations. It was built using Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, in combination with Macromedia Fireworks for any graphic duties. The operating system was Windows XP. All pages were created in Dreamweaver. Except for one instance where I wanted to dump my favourites from Internet Explorer to my Story-Idol links page. It is not possible to paste then directly to word or Dreamweaver. So I tried dragging the favourites folder into Frontpage—success! I then pasted these links with their urls to Dreamweaver. I also used Fireworks for a few tasks.

You are in the system now and can freely navigate it. To compare it to other Writer sites you may visit them or at least, if time is important, look at some screen dumps of the top three UK Writer sites (mentioned earlier).
